Pets will chew and scratch your furniture and they might even have the odd accident! Owning a pet is a big decision to make, as is having a child. Now that you have made that decision, you should look to protect your furniture from excitable puppies and enthusiastic kittens.
With this in mind, we have a few handy hints to help you protect your home and furniture from everything that a new pet will throw at you!
You can remove pet fur from upholstery easily using a soft rubber brush or dampened rubber glove. Gently pass this over the fabric in a gentle stroking action and simply wash the glove or brush afterwards to get rid of the fur.
Pet mess can often be removed from the surface of upholstery fabric with a clear spirit, such as vodka. Use on a clean white cloth in a dabbing action – this is particularly helpful for oily stains and dry clean only fabrics.
Before attempting any cleaning always test the product in an inconspicuous place first.
