Owning a Pet - Protect your Furniture
Owning a pet is a big decision to make as is having a child, now you’ve made that decision, you should look to protect your furniture from the excitable puppies and enthusiastic kittens, who will chew and scratch as well as having the odd accident!
With this in mind Furniture Medic have a few handy hints to help you protect your home and furniture from everything a new pet will throw at you!
Pet fur on Upholstery can often be removed with ease using a soft rubber brush or simply a rubber glove passed over the fabric in a gentle stroking action.
Pet mess can often be removed from the surface of upholstery fabric with a clear spirit such as Vodka or polish spirit. Use on a clean white cloth in a dabbing action – this is particularly helpful for oily stains and dry clean only fabrics. Before attempting any cleaning always test the product that you intend to use in an inconspicuous place.
